Filipka Rutkowska (born 1991) – performer and art historian. She collaborates with the Foksal Gallery Foundation and the Powszechny Theatre in Warsaw. Her works have been showcased at Berlin Art Week, Gothenburg Biennale, West Museum in The Hague, Ongoing Art Center in Tokyo, and the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw. As an actress, she has appeared in films by Małgorzata Szumowska, Łukasz Ronduda, and Aleks Baczyński-Jenkins Last year, a documentary about her, directed by Dawid Nickel, premiered at the New Horizons Festival and Millennium Docs Against Gravity. In Vogue Polska, she writes the column “Filipka w wielkim mieście” [Filipka in the big city], offering a queer perspective on the world. She lives in Warsaw.
