Ewa Zarzycka – an artist working in conceptual art, specialising in performance art, particularly spoken performance, and drawing as a medium for recording her original texts, diagrams, maps, and charts. She also creates objects, audio and video works, and installations, and produces podcasts. Zarzycka lives and works in Lublin and Kazimierz Dolny. She has been engaged in performance art since the 1980s. From 1973 to 1978, she studied at the State Higher School of Fine Arts, now the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław. Her works are held in collections including the National Museum in Warsaw, the National Museum in Wrocław – Pavilion of Four Domes, the Józef Robakowski Exchange Gallery, the Museum of Art in Łódź, the Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw, the Wrocław Contemporary Museum, the Zachęta National Gallery of Art in Warsaw, MOCAK in Kraków, the Moje Archiwum [My archive] Foundation of Andrzej Ciesielski, and the Jagiellonian University Library in Kraków.
